Footscray is a suburb 5 km west of central Melbourne. Footscray is characterised by a very diverse, multicultural central shopping area, which reflects the successive waves of immigration experienced by Melbourne, and by Footscray in particular. Located opposite Footscray Railway Station.  Another large market in Footscray is Little Saigon, noisy, vibrant and crowded, Little Saigon sells a wide array of Asian produce, seafood, fruit and vegetables. With more than a dozen independent Asian grocery shops, bakeries and delis, just about any Asian ingredient you can think of is available here.
