For those who love their exercise join the locals as they jog around the Tan a 4km running track that surrounds the gardens.
South Yarra and Toorak also have some of the best designer label shopping in Australia. In Toorak Village you’ll find a selection of the finest European imports for both adults and children as well as stylish local brands. Chapel Street South Yarra features a number of glamorous Australian labels that have graced the catwalks of Paris and New York.

A gracious mansion built in 1847 and a fine example of Australian Regency and Italianate architecture styles. Set on five acres of historic gardens which overlook the Yarra River.

Herring Island Enviromental Sculpture Park

3.2 hectares in size and only accessible by boat, this informal parkland has provided the inspiration for curator Maudie Palmer to develop a concept in which artists have created site specific sculptures from natural materials which reflect the islands unique and tranquil setting.
Open from 13 January through to 15 April. Punt service operates from 12pm-5pm Saturday & Sunday. Melways ref Ma 58, G2
