On Arrival



Here is a step by step guide to enjoying a stay at one of our apartments.
(These arrangements may vary slightly depending on the apartment)


Step 1: Get To The Apartment


On booking we will send you a detailed description of how to get to your chosen apartment. Maps are also included on this website for each apartment.


Step 2: Check In

Meet Your Greeter
Your contact person will wait for you at the apartment at the agreed time. Check in time is between 3.00-8.00pm. They will show you around the apartment and check that everything is to your satisfaction. You will also be shown how to work any equipment such as air conditioning, stereo, etc.. and give you the keys. This is a great time to ask your contact person for any restaurant or bar recommendations and local sights..

Pay The Balance
You will be asked to pay the remaining balance of your stay to the contact person. This will be in cash (aus $), unless otherwise agreed with the owner. Your contact person who will give you a receipt. Details of paying the remainder are given on each apartment page.

Sign The Agreement
You will sign a short term agreement that says you are happy with the apartment, will behave in a reasonable way in the apartment and that you will be liable for any damages if they occur, or extra cleaning charges should the apartment need it. This will be signed by the owner also.

Security Deposit
As specified at the time of booking you may be asked to leave a cash security deposit with the contact person. This will be stated on the agreement you sign. It is returned on your departure assuming that there has been no damage to the apartment, or no extra cleaning is required. For some apartments a cash deposit is not required as the owner will ask to hold your credit card details as security Please note the owner ma request your passport or Australian drivers licence details.

Step 3: Have A Great Time

Celebrate your arrival in Melbourne! … but please remember to respect the neighbours and treat the apartment with due care

Step 4: Check Out

Before or during your stay a check-out time will be arranged with your contact person. Check out time is no later than 11.00am on the morning of your departure. Your contact person will check the condition of the apartment and providing everything is in order, refund the security deposit.

Step 5: Feedback

Shortly after you have arrived home we will email you to obtain feedback. This is very important to us as it aids in maintaining our high standard of comfort and service.
